Inspired by ancient Samurai swords of Japanese lore, Global knives are carefully weighted to have incredible balance in the user's hand. The construction of the knife blade to handle is seamless, which means no grooves or pits for dirt or food particles to get trapped in. The handles of the knives are dimpled to give the user a sure grip. Global knife blades are ground down to a point instead of being beveled like western knives which results in extraordinary and long lasting sharpness.

This high-carbon steel is extremely tough and holds its edge well. They will need to be sharpened occasionally, but not as often as some similar knife sets, which need to be sharpened after every use. Anolon knives can be used multiple times before they need to be sharpened, and they sharpen easily. The blades are stain resistant and aren't prone to rust, but as with all knives, you have to make sure they stay clean and dry. They can be washed in the dishwasher, but it's recommended that you hand-wash and dry them so they will last longer.

Now add a limited lifetime warranty and you have a set of knives which will last for many generations. You will want to hand wash these knives just as you do any other good cutlery. Again, be careful, they are very sharp. They maintain that edge through a lot of use and don't require frequent sharpening.
