About

My name is Manuel Gonzalez and I am an application developer specializing in the Flash Platform. I have 10 years experience in consumer web applications and multimedia development. I live in the Lower Haight district of San Francisco, California. When I am not working on client applications, I spend most of my time tinkering with micro-controllers, building DIY Synthesizers, making electronic music or submitting art work for various group shows.

I started using Flash in 1998, creating animations, and making simple interactive micro-sites using ActionScript 1.0. As the language matured I quickly found myself  learning programming fundamentals in exhaustive detail. As the systems I developed became complex I eventually surrendered to the OOP philosophy, mainly the MVC pattern. Flash is a responsive, effective, user engaging experience and I look forward to building the next generation application which pushes boundaries of what is possible on the internet.
